I heard about the workshops run by Mike Hudson and Roy Rimmer from fellow wildlife enthusiasts some time ago, and fell very lucky when checking them out on Facebook as a weekend Bird of Prey workshop had literally just been announced. Mike and Roy, along with the Falconer, were all incredibly friendly and helpful in ensuring that everyone got the shots they wanted. A pair of Barn Owls performed beautifully for us with a lot of "mantling" making for different shots. The Peregrine was majestic and the Goshawk menacing and awesome. I am fortunate that I didn't have to travel too far to get there, but it is testament to how well regarded these workshops are that, although a small group, people had travelled from all over the country to attend. Thoroughly recommended. You can find them on social media here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/475175095956956. I will be keeping an eye on their page for announcements of other workshops in the near future!
